Dr Mahmoud Abdulai Mahmoud is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the University of Ghana Business School, University of Ghana. He lectures and supervises students at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Prior to joining academia in 2007, Dr. Mahmoud’s served as a Teaching and Graduate Assistant in the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at the University of Ghana Business School. He has also held Marketing Officer position in a local Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Food Security and Agro-Enterprise Project (FOSADEP), which was in partnership with an international NGO, Catholic Relief Services (CRS). Dr. Mahmoud’s area of interest is strategic marketing with a specific focus on market orientation and other strategic orientations (learning, innovation and corporate social responsibility). He has a number of publications to his credit in a number of international peer review journals including; Journal of Strategic Marketing, International Journal of Bank Marketing, Journal of Financial Services Marketing, Corporate Social Responsibility Journal, International Journal of Public Sector Management, International Journal of Marketing Studies, International Journal of Productivity and Performance Management. He has participated in a number of local and international conferences. Dr. Mahmoud’s teaches at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Courses he teaches include; Marketing Management, Sales Management, Marketing of Services, Integrated Marketing Communications and International Marketing. He has participated in a number of workshops and seminars both within and outside University of Ghana.
